Cross-Streets are Surfside Drive, Ventura Road and Market Street. Many units in Surfside 1 are oceanfront, Some have a Great ocean views. The Surfside 1 condominium complex on the South facing Hueneme Beach, consists of 67 three bedroom condominiums and 134 two bedroom townhouses. The complex is near the Hueneme Beach Park, and a grade school.

SCHOOLS: K-6 Bard, - 7-8 E O Green, - 9-12 Hueneme HHS.

HOA Dues are about 445.00 Monthly Association dues includes: trash pickup, water, sewer, security, recreation facility, maintenance, landscaping, management, 2 swimming pools, spa, Hazard and Earthquake Insurance, and taxes and insurance on common area. Surfside 1 is a gated community with the only entrance located at the west side of the complex and the exit gate on the east side.

The common area features: Clubhouse, Playground, two large outdoor Pools, Spa,Outdoor shower, pedestrian gate for beach access, Barbeque, Security, Cable TV is available, and a Greenbelt. All units have some kind of ocean view at least from the ground floor Patio or Balcony. All units are within walking distance to the beach. Radiant Electric Heat, Floors may have carpet and or tile. The roof is composition. With one detached carport per unit and plenty of guest parking available.

In 1989 the last scene in the movie "Back to the Future Part III," was filmed in Port Hueneme at the Ventura Road railroad crossing (near Surfside Drive). In the movie, the Delorean is on the railroad tracks between Surfside 1 and Anacapa View Townhomes and is hit by a train after the Ventura Road railroad crossing near Surfside 4. The reenactment below was filmed November 10, 2010.
