The Dunes Area of Oxnard Beach is East of Harbor Boulevard, South of 5th Street, West of the "Edson Canal", and North of Wooley Road. Northeast of The Colony The remarkable thing about this area is that it is all build on Sand. The sand dunes have been leveled out, but the area that is just to the north has not been. It is designated as an "Environmentally Protected Area" where entry is prohibited and the area is fenced and marked with posted signs. Lots and the homes are large. You can get a large home and be within 2/3 of a mile of the Sand, Surf, and Sea.
