Northeast of The Colony The remarkable thing about this area is that it is all build on Sand. The sand dunes have been leveled out, but the area that is just to the north has not been. It is designated as an "Environmentally Protected Area" where entry is prohibited and the area is fenced and marked with posted signs. Lots and the homes are large.
