The 101 technology corridor has helped Camarillo's economic growth. The high technology and specialty product industries seeking room to expand has found space in the Camarillo area. Also there is an abundant supply of skilled and educated employees.
Shopping in Camarillo takes many forms, from the family-owned stores of Old Town to the new 140-store Camarillo Factory Stores complex features some of America's top names in clothing, housewares and gifts.
Besides a wide array of international dining opportunities, visitors and locals can enjoy a panorama of art, culture and entertainment. Camarillo Community Theatre and Marquie Dinner Theatre present live performances of musicals, comedies and dramas. The Camarillo Arts Council provides Concerts in the Park from June through September.
